JK Community Farm
A 501(c)(3) providing people in need with fresh, organic fruit, vegetables, and protein.
JK Community Farm
Founded in 2018, The JK Community Farm – a 501(c)(3) started by JK Moving Services – provides fresh, organic fruit, vegetables, and protein to the food insecure including children and senior citizens.
Located in Loudoun County, Virginia, the Community Farm promotes food security , and sustainable agriculture through education, community outreach, and the donation of organic, chemical-free produce and protein.
As a nonprofit, volunteers play an integral role in the success of the JK Community Farm. We have volunteer opportunities for both groups and individuals. Without the help of our amazing and generous volunteers we would not be able to donate over 113,000 lbs of fresh produce to food pantries each year. Our volunteers have the opportunity to learn a wide range of gardening skills such as , planting , harvesting, composting, and basic construction.
Volunteering at the JK Community Farm doesn’t require any previous farming experience as our staff will train you along the way!
We are a #nonprofit in #LoudounCounty that provides the food insecure with #locallygrown #chemicalfree fruit, vegetables, and protein.
