About the

JK Community Farm

Founded in 2018, the JK Community Farm – a 501 (c) 3 started by JK Moving Services – provides children, senior citizens, the working poor, and other people in need with fresh, organic fruit, vegetables, and protein.

Located in Loudoun County, Virginia, the Community Farm will start with providing four acres that should yield approximately 52,580 pounds of fresh produce this year. JKCF plans to grow sweet potatoes, lettuce, kale, turnips, sweet corn, bell peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and more.

Volunteer opportunities

As a nonprofit, volunteers play an integral role in the success of the JK Community Farm. We have volunteer opportunities for both groups and individuals as well as more in-depth internship opportunities. Our volunteers assist our team with everything from helping in the fields to delivering produce to our distribution partners.

And volunteering at the JK Community Farm doesn’t require any previous farming experience as our staff will train you along the way!
